Role Objective Support the MIS and Data Analytics function by independently preparing, validating, and publishing daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports and

Power BI dashboards

for management. The role requires strong data handling, analytical thinking, and the ability to convert raw transactional data into meaningful business insights in a fast-paced stock broking environment.

Key Responsibilities 1. MIS & Management Reporting Prepare and publish

daily, weekly, and monthly MIS

for senior management. Ensure

accuracy, reconciliation, and consistency

across all reports. Maintain standardized report formats and historical data. 2. Data Extraction & Processing Write and optimize

SQL queries

to fetch data from

PostgreSQL

and

Google BigQuery . Perform data cleaning, transformation, and aggregation before reporting. Cross-check data across multiple systems and resolve discrepancies. 3. Advanced Excel Analysis Use

advanced Excel

for large-scale data processing and analysis: VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP INDEX–MATCH Pivot Tables & Pivot Charts Nested formulas and logical functions Prepare analytical summaries for brokerage, client activity, revenue, and trading trends. 4. Power BI Development Design, develop, and maintain

Power BI dashboards

for business and senior management. Create

data models , relationships, and measures using

DAX . Implement data refresh schedules and ensure dashboard reliability. Improve dashboard performance and usability. Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into actionable visuals. 5. Automation & Process Improvement Identify opportunities to

automate recurring reports and data flows . Reduce manual effort and improve turnaround time. Support automation using Excel Macros, Power BI features, or scripting where applicable. 6. Ad-hoc Analysis & Business Support Provide quick analytical support for management queries. Assist in deep-dive analysis on trading activity, revenue movement, and client behavior.

Required Skills & Qualifications Mandatory Strong hands-on experience in

Advanced Excel . Good command over

SQL

(SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, WHERE, subqueries). Power BI development experience , including: Data modeling DAX measures Visual design best practices Experience working with

large transactional datasets . High level of

accuracy, attention to detail, and ownership . Ability to work under

tight deadlines . Preferred / Added Advantage Exposure to

PostgreSQL

and

Google BigQuery . Knowledge of

Python for data analysis and automation , including libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, OpenPyXL / XlsxWriter, Matplotlib / Seaborn , and basic database connectivity using

SQLAlchemy or Psycopg2 . Experience in

stock broking / BFSI / financial services

domain. Knowledge of Excel Macros or report automation frameworks.

Behavioral & Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to independently own end-to-end reporting tasks. Clear communication and documentation skills. Comfortable working in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments.

Education Graduate in

Commerce / Finance / Engineering / Statistics / Mathematics / Data Analytics .
