Sr. Engineer / Asst Manager/ Deputy Manager - Lighting Designer

Designing Automotive Lighting products like Headlamp, Tail Lamp, Fog Lamp etc. Responsible for interaction with internal and external customer, with JV partners with respect to product design. Strong in 3D modelling and drawings creation using Catia V5. Experience in developing design concepts, master sections, style surface maturation etc. Awareness of AIS, ECE and other applicable regulations for Automotive Lighting. Should have good knowledge of Product design considering tooling, molding and Assembly. Knowledge of Tolerance & Stack up, design calculation, Product Bench-Marking, Change management, DFMEA & DFA / DFM. Knowledge of Plastic materials, its selection and joining methods. Experience of working in Design & Development of automotive industry. Prepare and maintain engineering records and documentation. Participate in Failure and Root cause Analysis. Good fundamentals in concept development and design principles/methods Additional: Basic Knowledge of LED’s and Electronics Excellent Analytical Skills. Proactive, take initiatives, possess good communication & interpersonal skills.
