Job Summary:
We are seeking exceptional Strategy Generalists to lead high-impact initiatives across the Ola Group. The ideal candidate brings strong first-principles thinking, analytical depth, and the ability to operate across diverse business problems.
You will work closely with the senior leadership on strategic priorities, business transformation, and on-ground execution across Mobility, Electric, Cell, and AI businesses in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Group Strategy & Special Initiatives
Drive strategic priorities sponsored by the Founder and Group Leadership.
Lead initiatives in new business incubation, market/category expansion, business turnarounds, and productivity programs.
Translate strategic direction into structured problem statements, actionable plans, and measurable outcomes.
Conduct market, industry, and competitive analysis to inform long-term strategy.
2. Cross-Functional Program Ownership
Act as the single-point owner for complex, multi-function strategic initiatives.
Coordinate execution across Product, Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Supply Chain, Service, Finance, and Policy.
Own program timelines, interdependencies, risk identification, escalation, and decision closure.
Ensure alignment and seamless collaboration across teams.
3. Business Planning, Analytics & Reviews
Build market sizing, business cases, unit economics, and scenario models.
Develop annual operating plans, long-range plans, dashboards, and business review mechanisms.
Prepare Founder/CEO review decks, board updates, and strategic briefing notes.
Leverage analytics and insights to drive data-backed decision-making.
4. On-Ground Business Execution
Solve live commercial and operational challenges across businesses.
Drive improvements in manufacturing productivity, sales & distribution growth, service experience, and cost efficiency.
Design, pilot, and operationalize solutions with full ownership of outcomes.
5. Leadership Communication & Stakeholder Management
Work directly with the Founder, CXOs, and Business Heads on high-priority initiatives.
Lead weekly performance reviews, decision memos, and strategic updates.
Act as a trusted advisor, challenging assumptions and presenting structured, evidence-backed recommendations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
MBA from Tier-1 institutes (IIMs, IITs, ISB, XLRI) with specializations in Finance, Marketing, Operations, Strategy, HR, or General Management is desirable.
10+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, program management, or business transformation.
Strong first-principles problem solving and ability to structure complex, ambiguous problems.
Proven experience managing large, cross-functional strategic programs with high ownership.
Ability to build business cases, conduct market and competitive analysis, develop financial models, and drive data-backed decisions.
