Purpose of the Position

Responsibility for Simulation Data structure expert (Carpark creator).

1. Creation and maintenance of simulation carparks (digital test fleets) across all disciplines within the VPE environment. Coordinate cross-functional teams to define calculation scopes and vehicle variants, ensuring all relevant disciplines are appropriately represented. 2. Manage the PID setup, MBT status validation, PR numbers, and technical linkage across systems, consulting with platform and series leads to close open issues. Drive the preliminary and main discussions for fleet definition, balancing simulation requirements with cross-domain synergies to minimize variant complexity. 3. Facilitate user approvals and align with platform engineering teams on fleet strategy, PR palette definition, and reduced variant logic where required. Ensure qualified and traceable digital mockup processes in alignment with simulation and integration requirements. 4. Execute and monitor DMU validations, including clash checks, space analyses, and packaging reviews, for all relevant variants. Own and distribute geometric whole vehicle approval (geoGFF) documentation for all simulation-relevant configurations. 5. Lead data quality governance by ensuring compliance with digital readiness, VPE standards, and simulation data auditability for pre-series builds.

Authority

1. Authorized to prepare and share daily reports, dashboards, MoMs, and escalation logs, lead fleet configuration reviews with engineering, simulation, and platform teams. 2. Liaise with EYD/EY teams to establish correct fleet structures in CONNECT; own HDBT data fulfillment tracking for digital milestone readiness. 3. Oversee simulation component integration in DMU; evaluate data consistency using ZMB, Connect, and other PLM systems. Identify and resolve configuration gaps, delays, and data issues; represent the simulation domain. validate car data in DMU and escalate issues as required. Support and verify PMU (Physical Mock-Up) outcomes to ensure alignment with virtual fleet assumptions. 4. Present fleet configuration and data maturity status to stakeholders as needed.

- Good in Communication Skill & MS office - Know-how of system like Connect, KVS, CATIA and ZMB - DMU Technique and Virtual Product Development knowledge - Presentation Skills for top management reports - Know-how of CORE, MBT and Farzhug software. - Accounting, Negotiation Skills, Soft Skills, interpersonal skills - VRED – Virtual reality software

Responsibilities and Tasks

1. Responsible for Creating carpark within VPE process. Presenting fleet configuration in VPE process like LVVP, HDBT and VPE. 2. Perform DMU check for each virtual stage of project for all required variants. Creating PMU plan and conducting PMU activity. Monitoring PMU issues and conducting CFT to resolve issue. 3. Prepare DMU and PMU issue reports & regularly report progress to HoD`s including decisions & impact to project timeline. 4. Perform data preparation and support to conduct digital customer check (DCC) 5. Ready to work on special projects, as & when needed, in whole development competencies. 6. Co-ordinate and close decisions of committees from Whole Vehicle department point of view. Represent Whole Vehicle in all these committees, Follow up & close topics 7. Evaluation of issue reports from system ZMB and connect. 8. Monitoring component integration in whole vehicle (coordination with DMU process) for projects MQB and CMP21D 9. Maintain data in system & adhere to protocol, defined rules & process. Make new ISO documents, update processes and guidelines for new projects. Ensure compliance for all activities within area/ project 10. Create daily reports, MoM, Project status etc. Ensures qualified work with very complicated technology and organizational demands in digital mockup to ensure quality data into system 11. Support other projects and activities within EG, based on tasks and project loads.
