Engineer/ Junior Manager Budgeting & Cost

Job Purpose:

To manage budgeting, cost control, production planning and performance monitoring of mining operations, ensuring optimal resource utilization, adherence to CAPEX/OPEX budgets and timely achievement of production targets through data-driven planning and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and control CAPEX & OPEX budgets for mining operations and projects. - Monitor costs vs budgets, analyze variances and recommend corrective actions. - Develop and track daily, monthly and annual production plans. - Coordinate with Operations, Geology, Finance, Procurement teams, etc. - Prepare MIS and management reports. - Identify operational risks, bottlenecks and cost optimization opportunities. - Ensure compliance with DGMS, safety, statutory and environmental norms. - Support audits, reviews and management decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Degree / Diploma in Mining / Mechanical / Engineering or related discipline. - 3- 10 years of experience in budgeting, planning, and monitoring in the mining industry. - Proficiency in SAP/ERP, MS Excel and MIS reporting.

Candidates with experience in mining will be preferred.
