U.S. Tax Associate - International Business Taxation

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled U.S. Tax Associate - International Business Taxation, to join our growing team. The role involves preparing U.S. federal, state, and international informational returns, supporting global clients, and collaborating with teams across India, Europe, and the U.S.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Two to three years of experience in preparing international tax compliance forms and informational returns, including Forms 5471, 5472, 8865 and 8858, and Form 1120F disclosures and statements 2. Preparation of tax calculations (subpart F, GILTI, 962 elections, etc.) 3. Coordinating work with the individual tax return preparers (FTC, federal elections, etc.) 4. Analysis of filing requirement for new and existing clients. 5. Communication with clients and client relationship development. 6. Reporting to the senior management and supporting the administrative team. 7. Working with the team in Europe and the U.S. to meet the client and IRS deadlines.

Qualification and expectations:

1. Bachelor’s / master’s degree in commerce, business administration or equivalent. 2. Extensive U.S. international individual and corporate tax experience in a public accounting firm or industry with a focus on U.S. expatriate taxation, with a minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience. 3. EA certification or willingness to obtain EA or CPA certification. 4. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team. 5. Fluency in English. Knowledge of German and/or another European language is an added advantage. 6. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple clients simultaneously. 7. Willingness to support the teams working in different time zones. 8. Knowledge of working in CCH tax software. 9. Awareness of corporate data protection. 10. Willingness to travel.
