GCP Data Engineer

Requirement: GCP Cloud Reports – Configuration, Customization & Integration (Hands-on Developer)

We are looking for a hands-on GCP Cloud Developer with strong experience in cloud reporting solutions, including configuration, customization, and system integrations.

Key Responsibilities

Design, configure, and customize reporting solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Develop and maintain reports using BigQuery, Looker / Looker Studio, and Data Studio

Integrate GCP reporting with external systems, APIs, and enterprise applications

Work with data pipelines using Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub

Optimize report performance, data models, and queries

Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into reports/dashboards

Ensure data security, access controls, and compliance best practices

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with GCP services (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, IAM)

Experience in report customization and configuration

Proficiency in SQL and data modeling

Experience with API integrations and REST services

Knowledge of ETL/ELT pipelines

Experience with CI/CD and version control (Git)

Good understanding of cloud security and cost optimization

Good to Have

Experience with Looker (LookML)

Python or Java for cloud integrations

Experience in enterprise reporting or analytics projects

5+ years overall experience

3+ years hands-on with GCP reporting & analytics
