Role description We are looking for a

Senior Oracle E-Business Suite Functional Consultant

with strong expertise in

Order Management (OM)

and

Oracle Configurator

to support an

acquisition integration program . The consultant will lead functional design, configuration, business alignment, and testing activities related to configurable products and end-to-end

Order-to-Cash (O2C)

processes. This is primarily a

functional leadership role

requiring independent execution and strong stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities Oracle Order Management (OM) Configure and support Oracle EBS R12 Order Management. Configure: Order Types Workflow assignments Header & Line Defaulting Rules Manage multiple order flows without hard coding. Understand order booking lifecycle and workflow behavior. Configure OM hooks and workflow attributes. Oracle Configurator (Critical Skill) Design and maintain Configurator models. Configure: Option Classes Dependency Rules Eligibility Rules UI validations and behaviors Prevent invalid or non-manufacturable configurations. Align configurator logic with BOM and manufacturing constraints. Support ATO / CTO configuration processes. Support post-configuration item creation and BOM linkage. Manufacturing & Supply Chain Functional knowledge of: Inventory Management Shipping Execution Bills of Materials (BOM) Work in Process (WIP) Support discrete manufacturing workflows. Enable configurator-driven manufacturing execution. Finance Exposure (O2C Support) Working knowledge of: Accounts Receivable (AR) General Ledger (GL) Order-to-Cash accounting lifecycle Exposure to Accounts Payable (AP) is beneficial. Functional Leadership Lead workshops and business requirement sessions. Perform

Fit-Gap Analysis

for acquired business entities. Prepare and deliver: BR-100 documentation Functional Design Documents Configuration Workbooks Act as bridge between business and technical teams. Provide functional sign-off. Testing & Deployment Lead SIT and UAT activities. Create functional test scenarios. Support cutover, go-live, and stabilization phases. Technical Awareness (Functional Level) Understand: PL/SQL Defaulting APIs Workflow attributes Item Interface concepts RICEW Functional Specifications Review technical designs and guide developers. Validate delivered solutions (no coding required). Required Skills Oracle EBS R12 Functional Consulting – 7+ Years Strong Oracle Order Management expertise Mandatory Oracle Configurator experience Manufacturing & Supply Chain functional knowledge Strong stakeholder communication skills Ability to work independently in fast-paced projects Nice to Have Acquisition / Integration project experience Manufacturing or building materials industry exposure GOP / ASCP exposure Multi-warehouse environments
