Manager - Social Media
We are looking for an experienced, passionate and creative Social Media Manager to join our global marketing team. As a Social Media Manager you will be responsible for developing and implementing Route Mobile's Social Media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts.
Responsibilities:
A Social Media Manager is responsible to increase exposure through social media platforms. He/She will work alongside a specialized marketing team to reach Route Mobile's brand goals. From creating monthly editorial calendars, to using marketing strategies to deliver Route Mobile's message in creative ways. The Social Media Manager will be the link between Route Mobile's offerings and its social media followers. Apart from just attracting new customers, a Social Media Manager will also need to analyze the data to determine which initiatives work best and capitalize on this information to continue scaling our business.
Execution
Oversee day-to-day management of campaigns and ensure brand consistency
Facilitate scaling brand and company awareness through various social media channels
Execution of all social media activities (i.e. tweeting, sharing, engaging, liking, increasing social reach, doing the heavy lifting, etc) for Route Mobile Group & manage overall brand reputation
Create actionable plans to both grow and maintain followers through popular social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube and LinkedIn
Creating social media campaigns and calls-to-action that drive target buyers to client sites and generate leads
Spending hours on LinkedIn every day engaging with our clients’ target audiences by sharing content, finding ways to grow LinkedIn company followership, and improving overall engagement with our clients’ LinkedIn Company Pages.
Staying ahead of the curve in leveraging LinkedIn as a professional social media network and as a content hub, such as leveraging LinkedIn Publishing Platform to understand influential content that is shared and the people who are sharing them
Work with brand to create and implement social media strategies monthly
Ensure brand consistency in copy through tone, voice and terminology
Supervise all aspects of social media interaction between customers and the company, and ensure a positive customer service experience
Ensure progress on all platforms by using analytical tools such as Google Analytics and others
Oversee the creating and implementation of the monthly editorial calendar which includes monthly sales objectives and initiatives
Implementing Social Media SEO tactics aligned with our clients’ keyword and SEO strategies
Conduct competitive analysis studies on client competitors, including digital footprint analysis
Skills:
3 - 6 years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube, Google+ and other social media best practices
Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
Proven working experience in digital marketing, particularly within the industry
Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, and social media advertising campaigns
Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends, SEMRush, etc.)
Working knowledge of ad serving tools
Experience in setting up and optimizing PPC campaigns on all major search engines
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints is desirable
Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research
Active Social Listening & extracting data
