Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Management: Identify and qualify potential leads from various channels.
- Oversee the CRM system for effective lead management and reporting.
- Sales Execution: Reach out to potential students, understanding their educational needs, and suggesting suitable courses. Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing department to align sales strategies.
- Share insights and feedback from clients to the product team, aiding in course improvement and creation.
- Sales Training & Development: Assist in training new inside sales representatives, ensuring they are well-versed with upGrad's offerings.
- Continually enhance sales skills, product knowledge, and industry understanding to drive sales performance.
- Customer Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing customers. Ensure smooth transition of customers from the sales phase to the onboarding process.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields.
- 2+ years of experience in inside sales, preferably in the Edtech or E-learning industry.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building rapport with clients.
- Proficient in CRM software and other sales-enhancing technologies.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple leads simultaneously.
- Understanding of the Indian education landscape will be an advantage.
