YOUR NEXT ROLE

As the Vice President of Engineering, you will be the architectural anchor and technical visionary for Acclaro’s entire technology ecosystem. While you will lead the evolution of ATLAS, our next-generation localization platform, your remit extends across our entire global tech stack.

This is not a “view from 30,000 feet” role. We need a builder‑leader who is as comfortable in a high‑level discussion with a customer as they are in a deep‑dive code review or whiteboarding a complex microservices architecture. You will pioneer our “AI‑First” transformation—not just in what we build for clients, but in how our engineering team operates daily.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

- Architect the Future:Define and execute the engineering vision for ATLAS and our broader internal tooling, ensuring a cohesive, scalable, and AI‑integrated roadmap. - Drive AI Transformation:Lead the implementation of LLMs and Generative AI within our products and—crucially—integrate AI‑driven tools into the engineering workflow to 10x Engineering productivity. - Hands‑On Technical Leadership:Conduct deep‑dive architectural reviews and regular code reviews. You aren’t just managing the team; you are setting the standard for technical excellence. - Build & Scale Global Teams:Manage and mentor a distributed team of internal engineers and third‑party partners across backend, frontend, DevOps, and Data/AI disciplines. - Modernize the SDLC:Champion modern, cloud‑native architectures and CI/CD practices, ensuring security and performance are baked into the “shift‑left” philosophy. - Strategic Execution:Translate complex technical debt and architectural needs into business‑aligned outcomes for the executive team. - Governance & Security:Own the technical integrity of our platforms, ensuring compliance (SOC 2, GDPR) and resilience across all systems.

THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF YOU

- Are a Technologist at Heart:You have 10+ years of engineering leadership, but you still keep your hands dirty and stay current with evolving frameworks and languages. - Are AI‑Native:You have a deep understanding of how to leverage LLMs, vector databases, and RAG & RAT architectures in production environments. - Are an Architectural Authority:You can navigate complex discussions on microservices, API‑first design, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) with ease. - Master the Global Scale:You have experience managing high‑performing, remote‑first engineering cultures and third‑party development partners. - Communicate with Impact:You can bridge the gap between deep technical implementation and high‑level business strategy.

- Localization Experience:You understand the nuances of MT, AI‑PE, AI‑QE, AI‑LQA and the complexity of global content workflows. - AI‑Augmented Engineering:You have successfully implemented AI coding assistants and automated QA agents to accelerate delivery cycles. - Product Mindset:You don’t just build what is asked; you partner with Product to define what is possible. - SaaS Growth Specialist:You have launched and scaled new platforms in transformative, high‑growth business environments. - Compliance Champion:You bring working knowledge of global security frameworks like GDPR and SOC 2 to ensure our platforms are enterprise‑ready you partner with Product to define what is possible.
