Key Responsibilities Lead complete

electrical system development

for vehicles/equipment from concept to production. Design and develop

wiring harness layouts

, 2D/3D routing, and installation drawings. Create and validate

electrical schematics

, circuit diagrams, and system architecture. Manage full

electrical packaging

, ensuring optimal routing, protection, and manufacturability. Perform harness routing considering thermal, vibration, mechanical, and environmental constraints. Define electrical component placement including connectors, clamps, clips, fuse boxes, relays, sensors, and control units. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with cross-functional teams: Mechanical, Manufacturing, Quality, and Suppliers. Support DFMEA, PFMEA, and design validation activities. Lead design reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior engineers. Interface with suppliers for harness development and validation. Troubleshoot electrical system issues during prototype and production stages.

Required Skills & Competencies Strong expertise in wiring harness design and electrical packaging. Proficiency in Any Tools but Creo Added Advantage. Deep understanding of vehicle electrical architecture (12V/24V systems). Experience with CAN communication, power distribution, grounding strategy. Knowledge of IPC/ISO automotive standards. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Experience working in automotive, construction equipment, or mining vehicle platforms. Ability to act as a technical authority and decision-maker.
