What you’ll be doing in your role You’ll get an opportunity of working directly with the Partners while closely collaborating with Associates and Managers, playing an integral role in shaping how Prequate is perceived in the market. While consulting engagements involve solving client problems, this role involves structuring and strengthening Prequate’s institutional presence.

This role could entail,

inter alia , understanding the nature of our engagements, analysing sectoral themes, contribution and creating content around relevant themes, identifying positioning gaps, structuring communication narratives, designing initiatives, engaging relevant forums, executing outreach plans, and reviewing visibility and perception outcomes on an ongoing basis.

This is not about digital marketing.

This is about institutional positioning.

What you’ll be doing within the team

Institutional positioning & public image management 40% of your time

This involves analyzing recurring strategic themes, curating content and research, benchmarking positioning, identifying whitespace in the market - digital or otherwise, developing structured narratives, institutionalizing communication frameworks, and ensuring consistency across all external touchpoints.

Refining Prequate’s institutional positioning and long-term brand architecture Converting consulting insights into white papers, structured notes, and firm briefs Supporting Partners in articulating market-facing perspectives Ensuring alignment across messaging - website, social media, media notes and external communication Evaluating how and where Prequate should build visibility Monitoring perception shifts and engagement quality over time

Objective: Build credibility that compounds. Skills: Thinking in structures & frameworks across channels.

Initiative ownership & strategic marketing projects 35% of your time

This involves initiatives entailing identifying a thematic opportunity (e.g., founder governance, capital readiness, restructuring cycles), structuring the intellectual property around it, designing the rollout plan, engaging relevant stakeholders, executing the initiative, and reviewing measurable outcomes.

Designing and launching structured knowledge series Building quarterly insight-led initiatives Engaging lateral thinking and being execution-ready Designing curated roundtables or closed-door discussions Developing outreach frameworks aligned to capital or sector cycles Building internal systems to track initiative performance

Objective: Amplify our views in a way that matters. Skills: Non-conventional thinking, analysis, high ownership and independent execution.

Community & relationship building 25% of your time

This involves mapping founder, operator and investor ecosystems, identifying relevant forums and industry platforms, structuring engagement plans, nurturing long-term relationships, and ensuring consistent presence in the right conversations.

Engaging in founder, CFO and operator communities Building relationships with industry publications and platforms Supporting speaking opportunities and curated events Assisting in designing and executing offline engagement initiatives Strengthening long-term ecosystem visibility

Objective: Strengthen our positioning with the right stakeholders. Skills: A networker mindset.

Should haves

Experience as part of a structured, outcome-driven team Minimum of 3 years in B2B marketing, strategic communication, or professional services Exposure to business, finance or strategy-led environments Comfort engaging with founders, CFOs and senior stakeholders Experience owning initiatives end-to-end Strong writing, spoken and structured thinking ability Basic grounding in business concepts (financial statements, business models, capital cycles) Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams
