JD: Assistant Manager - HR Operations
About the Role
We are looking for an Assistant Manager – HR Operations to support and ensure smooth execution of core HR operational processes across the employee lifecycle—from onboarding to exit. This role is critical in delivering a seamless and positive employee experience through efficient HR processes, strong coordination with internal stakeholders, and maintaining high standards of accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality.

What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)
Execute end-to-end HR operations processes including onboarding, employee lifecycle changes, and exit management.
Support and coordinate Performance Management, Promotions, and Compensation Revision cycles.
Ensure timely and accurate payroll inputs submission and coordinate with Finance for payroll processing, PF, insurance, and other statutory compliances.
Maintain and update employee records in HRMS and ensure data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
Facilitate smooth onboarding by managing documentation, HRMS entries, and induction coordination.
Manage employee exit formalities including clearances, documentation, and system updates.
Address employee queries related to HR policies, payroll, benefits, and HR operations.
Ensure adherence to HR policies, processes, and compliance requirements.
Generate and maintain HR reports, dashboards, and operational metrics.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and support automation initiatives using HRMS and technology platforms.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Finance, IT, and Business Leaders to ensure smooth HR operations delivery.
What We Look For In You (Job Requirements)
8-10 years of experience in HR Operations, preferably in the IT services industry.
Strong understanding of HR lifecycle processes including onboarding, payroll coordination, performance management, and exit management.
Hands-on experience working with HRMS systems (Darwin box experience is an advantage).
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high data accuracy.
Good understanding of HR policies, compliance, and statutory requirements.
Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Good analytical and reporting skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-driven, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
