Ed-Astra is a software solutions provider building scalable web and mobile applications. We are now looking to build a marketplace platform, enabling users and vendors to connect, transact, and manage services seamlessly.

Role Description

We are hiring a Flutter Developer to lead frontend development for our new platform. This platform will support listings, vendors, discovery, bookings, payments, and user management across a wide range of categories.

You will be responsible for:

Developing cross-platform (mobile & web) applications using Flutter

Building marketplace modules: leads, vendor profiles, search, filters, carts, and payment flows

Implementing clean, responsive UI/UX across devices

Integrating REST APIs, authentication workflows, and backend services

Ensuring high performance, smooth animations, and robust state management

Diagnosing issues, improving architecture, and maintaining code quality

Collaborating closely with backend, design, and product teams

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, architectural thinking, and building consumer-facing platforms at scale.

Qualifications

2–3+ years experience with Flutter (mobile + web)

Strong proficiency in Dart and state management tools (Provider, Riverpod, Bloc, etc.)

Experience building features for marketplaces or transactional apps

Solid understanding of responsive UI, component architecture, and performance optimization

Hands-on experience with REST APIs, authentication, and payment integrations

Ability to deliver scalable, maintainable, well-documented code

Bonus

Familiarity with Node.js, AWS EC2, S3, Firebase, and MongoDB

Experience with multi-vendor platforms, wallets, or subscription systems

Exposure to CI/CD, deployment pipelines, or cloud-hosted environments
