Assistant Vice President ,
Wealth Operations Lead
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the business unit of 100-150 resources to its maximum potential. You are encouraged to drive team performance, ensuring daily service level metrics are met while maintaining a high level of accuracy, providing mentorship and development to your direct reports, and meeting defined quality, customer experience, and efficiency requirements. You will also lead & drive a transformation agenda for our clients.
Responsibilities :
Lead & Manage a team of 100-150 staff and be a point of contact for all process & risk related issues
Be a First point of escalation for the team
Be hands on with the process and should be able to lead & drive conversations with Client on process & risk related matters
Plan proactively to manage change related to process , controls, transformation
Responsible for period review & identifying risks proactively to establish a strong Risk and Controls environment
Manage and Lead audits (internal and external) successfully
Establish strong relationship with onshore counterparts and should be capable of handling Onshore Queries and Issues
Build impactful customer relationships; improve Net Promoter Score. maintain an existing book of business, and drive revenue growth
Proactively understand Clientsโ business needs and propose appropriate solutions. Manage engagement staffing levels to deliver client expectations
Drive transformation projects from operations, digital asset implementation, standard methodologies' framework, case studies, benchmarking for making processes more efficient and effective
Effectively engage with customers to understand and address customer pain points
Provide direction and mentorship to the operations team for the delivery of goals (including SLAs, KPIs and KRAs), promote a learning culture and build a resilient team
Collaborate with Training, Compliance, WFM and HR to drive common agenda across the team
Conduct team meetings , 1-1โs and develop a strong team and leadership pipeline
Monitor and track performance , Conduct appraisals and performance discussions with Managers and staff.
Minimum Qualifications
Understanding of Wealth/ investment products and operations across US and Canada geography.
SME & Proficient in either/some of the following
Corporate Actions (Voluntary & Mandatory) in US (DTC/ FED, BNY etc)/EMEA (EUROCLEAR, Clearstream etc) markets
Income accruals and payments for ADR/ P&I/ Maturities/ Bonds
End to End NAV processing & Validation including Trades, Income, Expenses, Pricing , Distributions for Mutual Funds / Pension Funds/ Hedge Funds
Excellent operating skills- People management, Client management, and managing basic hygiene operations. Understand operational losses and devise strategies to minimize it
Sound knowledge of various digital technologies in the market- example RPA, AI, NLP, and ML- Having implemented one / few of these will be a plus
Knowledge and experience of implementing lean six sigma framework/ projects to drive continuous performance improvement
Ability to prioritize and manage effectively across many competing and concurrent tasks
Ability to manage multiple geographies and understand the cultural nuances
Ability to manage through indirect authority and matrixed organization structures.
Strong negotiation, facilitation and influencing, and consensus-building skills
Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Should be able to prepare and present independently & confidently to senior leadership within GENPACT and Client organization
Ability to work with all levels of the organization
The Individual should have exposure/experience to systematically evaluate business opportunities, the ambitious attitude to build on existing capabilities
Preferred qualifications
Masters in Commerce , CA or MBA
