Role Overview We’re seeking a sharp, highly imaginative

Writer & Director

who can ideate, script, and direct scroll-stopping video content. From short-form social videos and creator collabs to branded films and digital IPs, this role is central storytelling engine. You’ll collaborate closely with producers, DOPs, editors, stylists, and talent to bring concepts to life across a variety of platforms and genres.

Key Responsibilities

Writing & Ideation Conceive unique content ideas across categories like fashion, fintech, lifestyle, beauty, and more Write scripts for short-form videos (Reels, YouTube), digital ads, branded content, and creator/influencer formats Collaborate with the strategy and brand teams to align storytelling with client objectives and audience insight Create moodboards, visual references, and decks to pitch ideas internally and externally Adapt brand voice, tonality, and messaging across multiple video formats

Direction & Execution Lead shoots end-to-end: from pre-production to on-set direction to post-production reviews Work with cinematographers, stylists, and production teams to bring your creative vision to life Cast talent (actors/creators), conduct rehearsals, and direct performances to match tone and brief Ensure creative consistency and narrative sharpness throughout the production pipeline Participate in edit reviews and guide visual storytelling choices during post-production

Qualifications: Have 4–8 years of experience in creative writing and directing branded or editorial content Are confident directing both talent and crew on set Have experience with social-first formats and short-form storytelling (30s to 3 mins) Understand how to break down a brief and find the right creative hook Are comfortable working across genres, fashion films one day, fintech explainers the next Can switch between fast-paced shoots and conceptual long-lead projects with ease Are visually inclined, narrative-driven, and obsessed with trends and format innovation

Bonus Points: Background in film direction, screenwriting, or branded content Experience working in a digital-first agency or content studio Familiarity with production workflows, camera setups, and basic post-production terms Existing showreel or portfolio of high-performing content across platforms (Instagram, YouTube etc.)
