Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java - Implement BDD frameworks using Cucumber (Gherkin feature files, step definitions) - Automate RESTful APIs using tools such as Rest Assured - Execute test cases using TestNG and manage test suites - Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.) - Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues - Perform regression, smoke, and sanity testing - Maintain automation frameworks and improve test coverage - Participate in requirement reviews and provide test estimations - Prepare and maintain test documentation and reports

Required Skills:

- Strong experience in Java programming - Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver - Expertise in BDD using Cucumber - Experience in REST API automation using Rest Assured - Proficient in TestNG - Good understanding of automation frameworks (Hybrid / BDD) - Experience with Maven / Gradle - Knowledge of Git or other version control systems - Understanding of SDLC and STLC - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Good to Have:

- Experience with Postman / Swagger - Knowledge of SQL and database testing - Exposure to Docker or cloud platforms - Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter) - Familiarity with cross-browser testing tools (Grid, BrowserStack, Sauce Labs)
