Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer

This is an offshore role on the OFON field in Nigeria. On this role you will have a rotation of 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off. You will have 7 days working with while offshore. The accommodation, flight tickets, and medical insurance are provided by Dietsmann .

Key responsibilities: Coordinate on-site maintenance activities related to turbo machines in collaboration with supervisors and site teams. Provide technical input to the planning team to support effective job preparation within the discipline. Work alongside specialists operating under Specific Maintenance Contracts (SMC). Support compliance with COMPANY’s HSE regulations, including Work Permit procedures, approved operating procedures, and recognized industry standards during all maintenance activities. Use SAP to manage and track maintenance interventions. Record intervention reports in SAP (including SMC-related activities) and prepare technical documentation within area of responsibility. Support troubleshooting activities on turbo packages and contribute to restoring equipment to normal operating conditions. Assist the operations team with the safe operation and monitoring of turbo machines. Identify recurring corrective maintenance issues, participate in root cause analysis, and recommend practical improvements. Review preventive maintenance programs and contribute suggestions for continuous improvement. Communicate recurring concerns related to spare parts availability or quality to relevant support teams. Recommend technical improvements and raise modification requests where appropriate. Monitor turbo machine performance by tracking key operating parameters. Contribute to quality assurance through regular on-site verification of completed interventions.

Required profile: Experience supporting the reliability and integrity of turbo machines. Demonstrated involvement in ensuring maintenance activities are performed in line with company safety standards, operating procedures, and industry best practices. Solid technical knowledge of gas turbines and gas compressors. Experience coordinating or guiding small, multicultural teams in an inclusive and collaborative manner. Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams in an offshore environment. Previous offshore experience is desirable.

Required qualifications: Higher National Diploma or Certificate (HND/HNC (A-levels + 3 years study) or equivalent. At least 3 years of experience in the maintenance or operation field on gas turbines and gas compressors Languages: English
