Role Description This is a full-time off-site role for an Agronomist located in Anantapur- dist, Kadapa- dist, chikballapur-dist,. The Agronomist will be responsible for soil and crop analysis, developing and implementing effective irrigation and soil fertility strategies, and providing recommendations to optimize plant nutrition. The role involves conducting agriculture-related research, monitoring crop health, and advising on best practices for sustainable farming techniques. Collaboration with farmers, field visits, and preparing detailed reports on findings are critical aspects of this position.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Soil Science and Plant Nutrition, including soil analysis and fertility management. Expertise in Agriculture and Irrigation methods, with a focus on sustainable and efficient practices. Ability to conduct thorough Research on crop yields, pest management, and farming techniques. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to assess crop health and provide actionable solutions. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with farmers and team members. Proficiency in preparing detailed reports and using relevant agricultural tools and software is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Soil Science, Agriculture, or a related field. A master’s degree is an added advantage. Practical experience in agriculture or agribusiness is highly desirable.
