SGT University is establishing a dedicated Post-Admission Team to strengthen student retention, enhance engagement, and ensure a seamless transition from admission to academic life. The role focuses on minimising withdrawals, nurturing student relationships, supporting hostel and outstation students, and fostering a positive campus experience throughout the academic year.

Responsibilities
Pre-Commencement Engagement (Post-Registration to Start of Classes)
Design and implement structured engagement activities for registered students before classes begin.
Maintain regular communication (calls, emails, WhatsApp groups, virtual sessions).
Identify and proactively address concerns that may lead to withdrawals.
Build excitement and belonging through orientation connects, faculty introductions, peer networking sessions, and campus updates.
Student Retention & Withdrawal Minimization
Track admitted students and identify potential withdrawal risks.
Conduct counseling and issue-resolution discussions with students and parents.
Coordinate with academic and finance departments for smooth resolution of queries.
Maintain a retention dashboard and submit periodic reports to leadership.
Year-Round Student Relationship Management
Act as a single-point contact for assigned students throughout the academic year.
Regularly connect with students to understand academic, personal, or administrative concerns.
Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely resolution.
Collect structured feedback and share insights with management.
Hostel Student Engagement
Conduct regular interaction sessions with hostel residents.
Collaborate with the hostel warden to promote a positive and inclusive residential environment.
Organise informal engagement activities, wellness check-ins, and community-building initiatives.
Address concerns related to accommodation, safety, and campus life.
Outstation Student & Parent Connect
Develop special engagement strategies for outstation students.
Maintain periodic communication with parents/guardians where required.
Facilitate peer-support or buddy systems to help new students settle comfortably, i.e, acting as a buddy mentor.
Strengthen student satisfaction to positively influence future admissions through word-of-mouth.
Data Management & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of student interactions and concerns.
Use CRM/admission software for tracking engagement metrics.
Generate monthly retention and engagement reports.
Suggest process improvements based on data analysis.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in management, Education, Psychology, or related field.
2–6 years of experience in admissions, student affairs, counselling, or relationship management (higher education preferred).
Required Skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Empathy-driven approach and problem-solving ability.
Ability to manage student data and reporting tools.
Proactive, organised, and student-centric mindset.
Should be able to manage student grievances tactfully.
Remuneration range: 45–50 KPM
