Position Overview
The CEO will lead the business global strategy, operations, P&L and innovation roadmap. This leader will drive growth in revenue & profitability The role requires deep industry expertise, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to scale an innovation-driven, global B2B business.
1. Strategic Leadership
Develop and execute the business long-term strategy aligned with the companyโs overall Vision
and Mission.
Identify and build opportunities in global markets.
Drive execution of portfolio diversification and market expansion through innovation.
2. Business & P&L Management
Own end-to-end P&L responsibility, ensuring sustainable revenue growth and profitability.
Oversee budgeting, financial planning, capital allocation, and cost optimization.
Establish robust governance, risk management, and performance metrics.
3. Commercial Excellence
Lead global sales, marketing, and business development teams with a strong focus on key
accounts and strategic partnerships.
Expand the customer base across global markets including the US, Europe, APAC, and
emerging markets.
4. Innovation & Product Development
Foster a culture of R&D excellence
Drive collaboration between R&D, manufacturing, and commercial teams to accelerate new
product commercialization.
Evaluate new technologies, process improvements, and digital initiatives (AI-driven process
optimization, traceability, etc.).
5. Operational Leadership
Ensure world-class manufacturing capabilities, supply chain reliability, quality, and regulatory compliance.
Lead continuous improvements in relevant technologies, sustainability, and process efficiency.
Oversee plant operations, safety practices, and global sourcing programs.
6. People & Culture
Build and develop a high-performing leadership team.
Champion a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.
Implement capability development and succession-planning frameworks.
7. External Relations
Represent the Business with global customers, industry bodies, government agencies, and
strategic partners.
Strengthen the company's global brand position in the industry space.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
Masterโs degree in Business Administration / Life Sciences / Engineering
Additional executive education or leadership certifications are an advantage.
Experience
18โ25+ years of overall experience (In Manufacturing sector companies) with at least 8 years in senior leadership roles.
Proven track record preferably in the pharma/nutraceuticals/FMCG/specialty chemicals sector.
Significant experience in managing global business units, P&L, and cross-functional teams.
Exposure to R&D-driven product businesses, scaling new technologies, and building global
B2B customer relationships.
Age below 54 years
Fluency in Malayalam and/or Tamil communication, besides English.
