Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Food Technologist based in Mumbai. The Food Technologist will be responsible for conducting sensory evaluations, performing laboratory tests for incoming raw material and packaging material, and ensuring high-quality standards in all manufacturing processes. Additional responsibilities include monitoring quality control measures, documenting each of the evaluations in compliance with BRC norms, and optimizing product delivery to meet customer and company requirements.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Sensory Evaluation to assess taste, texture, and overall quality of food products. Expert level expertise in BRC compliant documentation for each of the laboratory and sensory tests conducted. Strong knowledge and hands-on expertise in Food Technology and Laboratory Skills. Experience in Quality Control to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Ability to contribute effectively to Research and Development (R&D) for product innovation and improvement. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field. Previous experience in the food manufacturing or bakery sector is highly desirable.

Salary band :

₹18,000 to ₹25,000 negotiable based on prior experience and skills level
