(community platform). This role will primarily focus on growing SpatialChat’s organic presence, with scope to extend modern search strategies across the broader product portfolio.
Role Overview
As an SEO Executive, you will drive organic growth across
traditional search (SEO)
and emerging discovery surfaces, including
AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), and LLM-driven discovery
. You will execute on-page, technical, and off-page SEO while also optimizing content and site structure to perform well in AI-powered answer engines, conversational search, and generative search experiences.
This is a hands-on execution role for someone who understands how search is evolving beyond blue links and can operationalize modern organic growth across Google, AI assistants, and generative discovery platforms.
Responsibilities
SEO Strategy & Planning (SEO + AEO + GEO)
Perform in-depth keyword research using GSC, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Google Keyword Planner
Build topical maps and SEO-led content plans to grow topical authority and semantic coverage
Identify
AEO opportunities
(featured snippets, FAQs, structured answers) and optimize content for answer engines
Structure content and entities for
GEO / generative search
visibility (clear definitions, comparisons, authoritative sources)
Technical SEO & Audits
Conduct technical audits to resolve crawl issues, Core Web Vitals bottlenecks, canonical errors, sitemap and robots.txt updates
Collaborate with developers on SEO-first page structures, internal linking, and site architecture
Implement and validate schema markup (FAQ, HowTo, Breadcrumbs, Product, Organization, Article) to support rich results and AI retrieval
On-Page Optimization
Optimize meta tags, headings, alt attributes, FAQs, and structured content blocks
Improve page content, internal linking, and UX-SEO alignment for desktop and mobile
Execute large-scale on-page optimization across landing pages, use cases, blogs, and product pages
Off-Page SEO & Link Building
Drive monthly backlink acquisition via PR placements, partnerships, directories, and relevant communities
Perform competitor backlink analysis and build high-authority link pipelines
Conduct backlink hygiene audits and remediate toxic links
Content Collaboration
Guide writers on SEO + AEO-friendly content structure (intent mapping, answer-first content, scannable sections)
Build and optimize content clusters and hub-and-spoke models
Identify content gaps based on SERP analysis, competitor benchmarks, and generative search visibility
Tools, Analytics & Reporting
Track performance using GA4, GSC, Screaming Frog, SEMrush/Ahrefs
Report on organic sessions, rankings, CTR, featured snippet capture, and conversion impact
Monitor indexation, crawl stats, site health, and structured data coverage
Track
visibility across AI answer surfaces
(LLM citations, generative summaries – where measurable)
Emerging Search & AI Discovery
Stay updated on algorithm updates, SERP changes, and AI-driven search trends
Apply
AEO best practices
for answer engines and conversational queries
Optimize for
GEO / generative retrieval
by improving entity clarity, authority signals, and sourceworthiness
Use AI tools to accelerate research, clustering, and content optimization workflows
What We’re Looking For
2–4 years of hands-on SEO experience (on-page, technical, off-page)
Comprehensive knowledge of keyword research, on-page SEO, and technical audits
Proven experience implementing SEO improvements with measurable impact
Strong link-building skills and backlink strategy execution
Expertise in web analytics to track, evaluate, and improve organic performance
Ability to stay current with SEO,
AEO, GEO
, and algorithm changes
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or related field
Experience with AI tools and local/GEO SEO strategies is a strong plus
Effective communicator and strong collaborator with content and dev teams
Solid understanding of how
LLM platforms surface and reference web content
