JD: Assistant Manager - HR Operations
About the Role
We are looking for an Assistant Manager – HR Operations to support and ensure smooth execution of core HR operational processes across the employee lifecycle—from onboarding to exit. This role is critical in delivering a seamless and positive employee experience through efficient HR processes, strong coordination with internal stakeholders, and maintaining high standards of accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality.

What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)
- Execute end-to-end HR operations processes including onboarding, employee lifecycle changes, and exit management.
- Support and coordinate Performance Management, Promotions, and Compensation Revision cycles.
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll inputs submission and coordinate with Finance for payroll processing, PF, insurance, and other statutory compliances.
- Maintain and update employee records in HRMS and ensure data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Facilitate smooth onboarding by managing documentation, HRMS entries, and induction coordination.
- Manage employee exit formalities including clearances, documentation, and system updates.
- Address employee queries related to HR policies, payroll, benefits, and HR operations.
- Ensure adherence to HR policies, processes, and compliance requirements.
- Generate and maintain HR reports, dashboards, and operational metrics.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and support automation initiatives using HRMS and technology platforms.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Finance, IT, and Business Leaders to ensure smooth HR operations delivery.
What We Look For In You (Job Requirements)
- 8-10 years of experience in HR Operations, preferably in the IT services industry.
- Strong understanding of HR lifecycle processes including onboarding, payroll coordination, performance management, and exit management.
- Hands-on experience working with HRMS systems (Darwin box experience is an advantage).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high data accuracy.
- Good understanding of HR policies, compliance, and statutory requirements.
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Good analytical and reporting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-driven, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
