About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled

QA Automation Engineer

with strong expertise in Python automation, protocol testing, and regression testing in networking/telecom environments. The candidate should have proven hands-on experience in developing automation frameworks, executing complex test scenarios, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end QA solutions.

Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain

automation scripts

using

Python & Pytest Framework

for testing telecom devices. Perform

functional, regression, and system integration testing (SIT)

on Residential Gateway Modems, OLT/ONT, and GPON/XGS-PON. Validate networking protocols such as

DHCP, NAT, DNS, ARP, TCP/IP, UDP, STP, RIP, OSPF . Execute

traffic simulation using Spirent/Ixia

to measure scalability and performance. Configure and test

VoIP, parental control, IONT integration, and networking features . Troubleshoot issues in

L2/L3 protocols

and automation testbeds. Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate testing within

CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) . Use

JIRA

for defect reporting, tracking, and documentation. Technical Skills Required Automation & Scripting:

Python, Pytest Framework. Networking Protocols:

DHCP, NAT, DNS, ARP, TCP/IP, UDP, STP, RIP, OSPF. Telecom Domain:

GPON/XGS-PON, OLT/ONT, Residential Gateways, VoIP. Testing Tools:

Spirent Test Center, Ixia. CI/CD & Tools:

Jenkins, JIRA. Operating Systems:

Linux. Good to Have Exposure to VMware and firewall testing. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in

Electronics, Telecommunications, Instrumentation, or Computer Science . 4+ years

of proven experience in telecom testing or Network or Satellite and automation. Hands-on experience with

Spirent/Ixia

for network validation.
