We work with buyers and suppliers across Australia, Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and Asia.
About the Role
We are looking for a driven, commercially sharp Global Sales & Buyer Acquisition Manager to build and convert EEC's international buyer pipeline. You will be responsible for identifying new buyers globally, nurturing relationships, and converting inquiries into purchase orders. This is a revenue-generating role. Your success is measured directly by the number of deals closed.
Key Responsibilities
Buyer Acquisition:
Proactively prospect 50+ new international buyer leads per week
Identify and target institutional buyers; government procurement departments, hotel chains, airlines, corporates, retail chains, supermarket chains, industrial buyers, etc
Execute multi-channel outreach, email sequences, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, cold calls
Manage AI-powered outreach tools for scale
Sales Pipeline Management:
Own the full sales cycle from first contact to signed purchase order
Qualify buyer inquiries; understand product requirements, volumes, pricing expectations, certifications needed
Coordinate with Supplier Relations Manager for pricing and availability
Prepare and send professional commercial proposals and quotations within 24 hours of inquiry
Follow up on all open proposals systematically; no lead goes cold
Update CRM daily; every interaction, every proposal, every status change logged
Relationship Management:
Build long-term relationships with key buyers; Ensure EEC becomes their trusted sourcing partner
Manage sample coordination; request samples, track dispatch, follow up on buyer feedback
Negotiate commercial terms; pricing, payment terms, Incoterms, delivery timelines
Coordinate with the operations team for smooth deal execution after the PO is received
Market Intelligence:
Stay updated on pricing trends, competitor activity, and new product opportunities
Share weekly market intelligence update with CEO
Identify new product categories based on buyer demand signals
Reporting:
Weekly pipeline report: all active leads, stage, expected value, expected close date
Monthly revenue report: PO value closed vs. target
Quarterly market review
Targets (Month 3 onwards)
200+ new buyer prospects contacted per month
15+ proposals sent per month
₹1.5–2Cr in monthly PO value generated or in advanced negotiation
What We're Looking For
Must Have:
5-7 years of experience in international trade, export sales, B2B sales, or commodity brokerage
Proven track record of closing B2B deals; can provide examples with numbers
Excellent English communication; written and verbal (international buyer-facing role)
Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen
Understands Incoterms (FOB, CIF, DDP), payment terms (LC, DP, DA, advance), basic export documentation
Self-motivated, target-driven; does not need to be pushed
Comfortable with LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, and CRM tools
Experience selling food commodities, textiles, or FMCG products internationally
Nice to Have:
Existing buyer relationships in Africa, the Middle East, Europe, Southeast Asia
Experience with AI outreach tools
Personality:
Hunter mentality; loves finding and closing new business
Persistent but professional; knows how to follow up without being pushy
Entrepreneurial; takes initiative, doesn't need to be told
Resilient; handles rejection as part of the process, not personally
