Job Description: Program Manager – Gold & LGD Category Location: Bangalore Function: Category Management

Role Overview The Program Manager – Gold & LGD Category will play a critical role in owning and driving strategic initiatives across the Gold and Lab-Grown Diamond (LGD) categories at GIVA. This role will focus on unlocking new business levers, improving category performance, and leading cost and process optimization initiatives across the value chain.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, execution-focused, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Key Responsibilities ::

1. Strategic Initiatives & Growth Levers • Own and drive new initiatives aimed at unlocking growth levers across the Gold & LGD categories (e.g., pricing, assortment, sourcing, supply chain, go-to-market). • Identify opportunities to improve category GM, contribution margin, inventory turns, and cash efficiency. • Build business cases for new initiatives, pilots, and scale-up programs with clear success metrics. • Work closely with leadership to translate category strategy into executable programs.

2. Program & Project Management • End-to-end ownership of cross-functional programs, from ideation to execution and post-launch tracking. • Define project scope, timelines, dependencies, and success metrics; ensure on-time and high-quality delivery. • Act as the single point of accountability for key category-level programs.

3. Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement • Map and improve end-to-end category processes (planning, procurement, production, replenishment). • Drive cost and process optimization projects through simplification, standardization, and automation. • Implement SOP’s, governance mechanisms, and dashboards to track execution rigor and impact. • Ensure initiatives deliver sustained, measurable business outcomes.

Key Metrics of Success • Improvement in category margins and cost structures. • Successful launch and scale-up of new initiatives. • Reduction in operational costs, lead times, or wastage. • Improved process efficiency and execution velocity. • Measurable business impact from owned programs.

Candidate Profile Experience & Skills :: • 3–7 years of experience in Program Management, Business Operations, Category Management, Consulting, or Strategy (D2C, retail, e-commerce, or consumer brands preferred). • Strong experience driving complex initiatives with measurable business outcomes. • Proven exposure to process improvement or cost optimization projects. • High proficiency in data analysis, Excel/Google Sheets, and structured problem-solving. • Ability to build clear business cases and communicate insights effectively.

Preferred Background • Experience in Jewellery, luxury, retail, or supply chain-intensive businesses is a plus. • Exposure to Gold or Diamond (natural or lab-grown) categories is an added advantage.
