Role: Senior SAP OTC Business Analyst
Exp: 7 to 12 Years
Location: Pune (Client location)
Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days Joiners preferred
Shift: General shift
The Senior SAP OTC Business Analyst is responsible for leading the analysis, design, configuration, and support of the SAP Order-to-Cash cycle. This role requires strong functional expertise in SAP SD modules, deep understanding of end-to-end OTC business processes, and hands-on experience with sales, pricing, delivery, billing, and credit management.
The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional business teams and IT partners to deliver scalable solutions, improve OTC process efficiency, and support global SAP initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- OTC Process Design & Analysis
- Lead the design and optimization of the full OTC lifecycle, including:
- Customer Master & Credit Management
- Sales Order Management
- Pricing & Discount
- Availability Check (ATP)
- Delivery & Shipping
- Transportation Coordination
- Billing & Invoicing
- Returns & Credit/Debit Memo Processing
- Conduct requirements workshops with Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Supply Chain, and Distribution teams.
- Document functional specifications, process maps, and solution designs.
- SAP SD Configuration & Enhancements
Perform configuration in SAP SD including:
- Sales document types, item categories, and schedule lines
- Pricing procedures and condition techniques
- Delivery types, route determination, shipping points
- Billing types, output types, and invoice processing
- Write functional specs for WRICEF objects (reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms).
- Cross-Functional Integration
Work closely with:
- SAP MM/LE for deliveries, shipments, and inventory
- SAP FI/CO for billing, revenue posting, and credit processes
- SAP PP for ATP and production-related order fulfillment
- EDI/IDoc teams for order, delivery, and invoice integrations
- Ensure seamless process flow across upstream and downstream systems.
- Project & Implementation Support
- Support SAP implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and S/4HANA conversion initiatives.
- Lead SIT, UAT testing cycles and defect management.
- Support data migration activities related to customers, pricing, and OTC objects.
- Maintain complete solution documentation and training materials.
- Production Support & Continuous Improvement
- Provide Tier-2/Tier-3 support for complex OTC issues.
- Troubleshoot order processing, delivery, invoice failures, and pricing discrepancies.
- Analyze performance gaps and recommend improvements to enhance order accuracy and cycle time.
- Support SAP release updates, regression testing, and quarterly enhancements.
Required Qualifications
- 7–12 years of SAP SD / OTC functional experience.
- Strong configuration experience with sales orders, pricing, deliveries, and billing.
- Solid understanding of OTC business processes and best practices.
- Experience with EDI/IDoc integrations and partner profiles.
- Hands-on experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA.
- Ability to gather requirements, lead workshops, and translate business processes into SAP solutions.
