Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead end‐to‐end delivery of small, medium, and large‐scale projects across the OTR (Order to Remittance) value chain. The ideal candidate is a hands‐on delivery leader with strong expertise in project governance, budgeting, vendor management, RFP processes, and people leadership.
This role requires someone who can manage multiple cross‐functional teams while ensuring alignment with organizational standards, customer expectations, and financial goals.
Role Overview
The Project Manager will oversee project execution from initiation to closure, drive OTR operational excellence, manage vendors, lead teams of 30–40 members, and ensure delivery efficiency, financial tracking, and stakeholder alignment. Candidates with experience in IT/OT, engineering services, mining, industrial, or manufacturing domains will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
A. Project Delivery & Governance
- Lead end‐to‐end project lifecycle for small (), schedules, RAID logs, dashboards, and progress reports.
- Conduct project reviews, governance meetings, and stakeholder updates.
B. OTR (Order to Remittance) Process Management
- Oversee order creation, work authorization, execution tracking, billing, and project closure.
- Ensure timely invoicing, financial accuracy, and cost reconciliation.
- Partner with Finance to enhance billing efficiency, compliance, and profitability.
C. Budgeting & Financial Management
- Develop project budgets, cost estimates, forecasts, and financial baselines.
- Track CAPEX/OPEX consumption and highlight variances.
- Drive cost optimization, vendor negotiation, and efficient delivery models.
- Own project P&L, margins, and financial reporting.
D. RFP / Vendor & Contract Management
- Prepare RFP/RFQ, evaluation matrices, and SoW documentation.
- Manage vendor shortlisting, technical evaluation, negotiation, and final selection.
- Work closely with Procurement & Legal on contracts and compliance.
- Oversee vendor onboarding, performance review, and contract closure.
E. People Leadership (Team Size: 30–40)
- Lead cross‐functional teams: engineers, analysts, coordinators, and support groups.
- Set goals, assign responsibilities, and track daily/weekly performance.
- Conduct annual & mid‐year performance appraisals and career development reviews.
- Coach and mentor teams to enhance delivery maturity and capability.
F. Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, internal teams, and leadership.
- Maintain proactive communication and transparent reporting.
- Facilitate alignment across Engineering, Operations, IT/OT, Finance, and Procurement teams.
G. Quality, Risk & Compliance
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with organizational safety, security, and quality standards.
- Support audits, governance reviews, and documentation processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical & Process Skills
- Strong understanding of OTR lifecycle: Order Initiation → Execution → Billing → Remittance.
- Proven experience managing $200k to $1M+ projects.
- Expertise in budgeting, cost tracking, and financial governance.
- Hands‐on experience with RFP/RFQ, SoW drafting, vendor evaluation & procurement.
- Knowledge of IT/OT systems in engineering, industrial, mining, or manufacturing (preferred).
- Proficiency with MS Project, Jira/Confluence, Primavera (optional), Power BI.
Leadership & Behavioral Skills
- Experience managing 30–40 team members, including performance appraisals.
- Strong stakeholder management, escalation handling, and conflict resolution.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in fast‐paced, multi‐project environments.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering / technology / business (mandatory).
- MBA or equivalent degree (preferred).
- 13+ years total experience, including 5+ years in project/program management.
- Certifications such as PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile (preferred but not mandatory).
