Our global network provides strategic guidance and implementation services to help companies manage data from disparate sources and convert it into accurate, actionable information that can support fact-driven decision-making and generate an insight-driven advantage.

Experience

• 3–7 years of experience in designing, developing, and delivering scalable data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Strong hands-on expertise in building data pipelines and data platforms in cloud environments. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain batch and real-time data pipelines on GCP.

• Build scalable data solutions using

BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Composer (Airflow) .

• Develop and optimize SQL queries and data transformation logic using Python / Java / Scala.

• Design and implement data models for Data Warehouses and Data Lakes.

• Work with GCP databases including Cloud SQL, Bigtable, Spanner, and AlloyDB, selecting appropriate services based on use cases.

• Orchestrate and monitor workflows using Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow).

• Implement data quality checks, validation rules, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms.

• Support data migration initiatives including on-prem to cloud and cloud-to-cloud migrations. • Apply GCP best practices for performance optimization, reliability, scalability, security, and cost management.

• Participate in CI/CD implementation using tools such as Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, and Docker.

• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, architects, and business stakeholders to understand and translate data requirements into technical solutions.

• Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline performance and production issues.

• Contribute to design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior team members.

• Participate in Agile delivery processes and client interactions (if applicable).

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with GCP data services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, GCS).

• Advanced SQL skills with performance optimization experience.

• Proficiency in Python (preferred) or Java/Scala.

• Good understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and distributed data processing concepts.

• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.

• Knowledge of IAM, security, and access control best practices in GCP.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Google Cloud Certified – Professional Data Engineer. • Experience with streaming architectures (Pub/Sub + Dataflow streaming). • Exposure to data governance, lineage, and observability tools. • Experience working in consulting or client-facing environments.
