Job Over view:

The Sales & Application Engineer – Automation will be responsible for supporting sales and business development activities for automation solutions in Pharma, Food & Beverages, and Chemical industries. This role is suitable for candidates with 0 to 3 years of experience who are passionate about technical sales and industrial automation.

Key Responsibilities: ·

Assist in developing and maintaining relationships with plant managers, engineering teams, and

operations personnel. ·

Support senior sales managers in customer meetings and technical discussions. ·

Follow up with clients for inquiries, proposals, and order closures. ·

Understand customer requirements and assist in proposing suitable automation solutions such as PLC, SCADA, HMI, and process control systems. ·

Coordinate with internal engineering teams for technical clarifications and proposal preparation. ·

Participate in product presentations, exhibitions, trade shows, and technical seminars. ·

Maintain records of inquiries, proposals, and sales activities using CRM tools. ·

Support sales forecasting and pipeline management activities. ·

Gain basic understanding of regulatory requirements such as FDA 21 CFR Part 11, GxP, and cGMP.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

·

0 to 3 years of experience in Automation Sales / Technical Sales / Application Engineering (Freshers with strong automation knowledge may apply). ·

B.Tech / B.E in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Chemical Engineering. ·

Basic knowledge of PLC, SCADA, HMI systems. ·

Exposure to automation brands such as Schneider, Siemens, ABB, Yokogawa, or Rockwell will be an added advantage. ·

Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. ·

Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits as required.
