Development Engineer – Sunroof Systems Role Summary: Responsible for defining specifications, development, validation, and industrialization support of sunroof systems, ensuring compliance with internal standards and type approval requirements while coordinating with global stakeholders and suppliers. Key Responsibilities: Define system and component specifications for sunroof systems Lead development and validation activities across lifecycle phases Manage engineering releases and technical documentation Coordinate technical clarifications and reviews with suppliers Track part development progress and report status Support development trials and production ramp-up activities Ensure functional performance for intended vehicle use Ensure compliance with internal standards and type approval norms Coordinate development activities with Headquarters Represent engineering in cross-functional forums Steer project delivery against time, cost, functionality, and resource targets
