We operate with strong execution discipline, structured project management, and financial control. As we scale operations, we are strengthening our finance function to ensure cash flow discipline, project profitability monitoring, statutory compliance oversight, and financial governance across all projects.
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Finance Controller to lead financial control, payment governance, working capital management, loan oversight, statutory compliance review, and project-level profitability monitoring.
This role is critical in ensuring financial discipline, risk control, and structured financial decision-making across all ongoing projects.
You will work closely with the CEO, PMO, Site Teams, and Accounts Executive.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Review & Approval
• Review and approve customer invoices and milestone billing
• Review and approve vendor invoices and purchase-related transactions
• Ensure transactions align with approved project budgets
• Monitor revenue recognition and cost allocation
Payment Authorization & Execution
• Approve vendor payments and site-related disbursements
• Authorize and execute bank transactions
• Monitor customer collections and outstanding receivables
• Ensure payment prioritization based on cash flow position
Cash Flow & Bank Control
• Monitor daily and weekly cash position
• Prepare short-term and medium-term cash flow forecasts
• Control bank balances and fund allocation across projects
• Plan vendor payments aligned with collections and commitments
Working Capital & Loan Management
• Monitor receivables, payables, and overall cash conversion cycle
• Optimize working capital utilization across parallel projects
• Track retention receivables and advance recoveries
• Manage CC / OD / BG / LC limits and optimize utilization
• Monitor drawing power and ensure compliance with bank covenants
• Plan loan repayments and monitor interest costs
• Coordinate with banks for documentation, renewals, and limit enhancements
• Maintain financial discipline to ensure healthy banking relationships
Site Expense Approval & Release
• Approve site expense limits project-wise
• Approve site advances and expense releases
• Review high-value or unusual site expenses
• Escalate financial risks or cost overruns to Management
Compliance Review & Filing Oversight
• Review GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and PT workings prepared by Accounts Executive
• Approve statutory payments before submission
• Coordinate with external auditors and consultants
• Ensure all compliance timelines are met
Audit & Statutory Coordination
• Lead coordination with statutory auditors
• Handle audit queries, inspections, and documentation reviews
• Ensure timely closure of audit observations
• Maintain financial documentation integrity
Financial Reporting & Management Updates
• Prepare monthly financial reports for Management
• Review project-wise profitability and cost performance
• Track budget vs actuals and highlight deviations
• Share financial insights and risk indicators with CEO
Project Financial Closure
• Perform project-level financial reconciliation
• Approve final billing and cost closures
• Ensure documentation archiving and financial sign-off
Eligibility & Skills
• B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / MBA (Finance) preferred
• 8–15 years of experience in Finance / Accounting
• Strong experience in construction / EPC / project-based industry (Mandatory)
Strong working knowledge of:
• Working capital management
• Loan & banking relationship management
• Cash flow forecasting
• Budget vs actual monitoring
• Tally & ERP systems
• GST, TDS and statutory compliance oversight
• Financial reporting and MIS
• Advanced Excel
