Job Overview

We are seeking a high-energy, mission-driven professional to spearhead our CSR Mandate. This is not a typical administrative role; it is a position for a "boots-on-the-ground" strategist who believes in social impact as a core business value. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of our social investments—from high-level strategy and compliance structuring to partner onboarding and field-level execution.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Compliance Structuring

- Strategy Formulation: Define long-term CSR roadmaps and thematic areas of intervention (e.g., Education, WASH, Livelihood) aligned with the company’s vision. - Governance & Frameworks: Establish robust governance mechanisms and SOPs for fund disbursement and project tracking. - Regulatory Compliance: Act as the subject matter expert on Section 135 of the Companies Act 2013, ensuring all activities meet the latest Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) guidelines.

2. Partner Management & Onboarding

- Due Diligence: Evaluate potential implementation partners (NGOs/Trusts) based on their legal standing (80G, 12A, CSR-1), past track record, and financial transparency. - Partner Onboarding: Manage the RFP (Request for Proposal) process, contract negotiations, and the development of detailed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs).

3. Execution Planning & Monitoring

- Field-First Approach: Conduct regular field visits and site audits to verify on-ground execution and identify bottleneck areas. - Documentation & Reporting: Maintain meticulous records for audit purposes and lead the creation of the Annual CSR Report and Impact Assessment Studies. - Financial Oversight: Monitor project budgets, ensuring timely utilization of funds and preventing "unspent CSR amount" lapses.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Education: Master’s in Social Work (MSW) or a related degree in Social Sciences. Preference will be given to candidates from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS). - Experience: 8+ years of demonstrable experience in a Corporate CSR team, a prominent Foundation, or a large-scale NGO. - Technical Skills: Proficiency in CSR documentation, impact measurement frameworks (like SROI), and a deep understanding of the Indian social sector landscape. - Attributes: A "purpose-driven" mindset with the high energy required to navigate between corporate boardrooms and rural project sites. - Mobility: Willingness to travel (approx. 30–40%) to project locations for monitoring and partner evaluations. - Communication: Ability to craft compelling impact stories and present data-backed reports to the CSR Committee/Board.
