Role Overview:
Key Technical Expertise Required:
1. S/4HANA Migration & Advanced ABAP
Strong hands-on experience in full lifecycle migration or conversion projects from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA.
Deep expertise in advanced ABAP programming including data dictionary concepts, performance optimization, debugging, and complex enhancements.
Solid experience working with BRF+, SAP Scripts, and SmartForms.
2. Object-Oriented ABAP Development
Extensive knowledge of Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP) principles.
Ability to design scalable, reusable, and modular applications using OOP concepts.
Experience building complex enterprise-level custom solutions.
3. S/4HANA & Fiori Technical Capabilities
Proficiency in Core Data Services (CDS Views) and ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDPs).
Hands-on experience developing and consuming OData services.
Exposure to SAP Fiori and UI5 application development.
Experience & Responsibilities:
Minimum 5+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience across implementation and support engagements.
Strong exposure to RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows).
Experience working with SAP implementation methodologies such as SAP ASAP or SAP Activate.
Practical experience in:
OData services
WebDynpro
Adobe Forms
Workflow development
S/4HANA migration activities (ATC checks, SPDD, SPAU adjustments, etc.)
Functional exposure to ABAP HR including knowledge of Infotypes, Pay Areas, PA & OM.
Strong development experience across ECC and S/4HANA landscapes.
Integration & Cross-Module Knowledge:
Experience integrating ABAP/Fiori solutions with SAP modules such as:
HR
SD / LE
MM / WM
PP / QM
FICO
Exposure to integration with other SAP solutions including:
Hybris
CRM
BW
PI/PO
APO
DMS
FI-Vertex
Ariba
SNC
MDM
Experience handling inbound and outbound ALE/EDI interfaces.
Project & Soft Skills:
Experience conducting technical design discussions, workshops, requirement analysis, and process mapping.
Involvement in configuration, testing cycles, training, go-live, and post-production support.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Adaptable, team-oriented, and capable of working in dynamic client environments.
