Compliance Officer / Senior Compliance Officer

to join our compliance team. The role involves managing and ensuring the timely collection, verification, and compliance of professional documentation for healthcare professionals (nurses, doctors, and other clinical staff) working within the

NHS (National Health Service), UK . You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of compliance by ensuring all credentials, licenses, and certifications meet regulatory and client requirements. Key Responsibilities: Collect, verify, and maintain compliance documents from healthcare professionals (Nurses, Doctors, Allied Health Staff) working in the NHS. Review and chase pending documentation such as professional licenses, right-to-work proofs, training certificates, vaccination records, and background checks. Ensure all documents meet NHS and recruitment framework standards (e.g., NHS Employers, Framework Compliance). Communicate effectively with candidates and internal teams to ensure timely submission and verification of all required documents. Maintain accurate records and update internal compliance databases/systems. Escalate non-compliance issues promptly and assist in resolving discrepancies. Support audits by preparing and providing necessary compliance reports and documentation. Stay up to date with UK healthcare compliance and NHS framework requirements. Key Skills & Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 2-3+ years of experience in compliance, document verification, or recruitment (preferably in healthcare or NHS domain). Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and follow-up skills. Good communication skills (written and verbal). Proficiency with MS Office and compliance tracking systems/CRMs. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines. Understanding of NHS compliance standards will be an advantage.
