Safety Specialist

We are seeking an experienced

Safety Specialist

to lead Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) activities for a Greenfield construction site from preparation through project completion. This role ensures compliance with

ISO 45001 , corporate (KORE) standards, and local regulations, while driving a proactive safety culture aligned with our vision of

“Zero is Possible.”

Key Responsibilities Implement and maintain site HSE management systems in compliance with ISO 45001, KORE, and statutory requirements Conduct daily site inspections, audits, and compliance assessments Review and approve contractor safety documentation (method statements, risk assessments, PTWs) Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions Ensure controls for high-risk activities (hot work, confined space, work at height, etc.) Deliver safety training and support capability development Support emergency response planning and drills Drive contractor safety performance and foster strong safety culture Ensure accurate reporting of safety data and audit readiness Support plant security programs and electronic safety systems

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field 7+ years of safety experience, preferably in Greenfield construction projects Strong knowledge of ISO 45001, risk assessment, contractor management, and safety engineering controls Experience leading investigations and audits Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills Fluent in English (written & verbal)
