Job Description Position Title: Vertical Lead – (Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad) Location: Chennai (Full-Time, Remote) Reporting To: Business Head Compensation: Up to ₹7 LPA (Fixed) + Performance-Linked Incentives About Sutra Luminis Sutra Luminis is a premium decorative lighting brand delivering bespoke lighting solutions for high-end residential, hospitality, commercial, and institutional projects across India. We collaborate with leading architects, interior designers, PMCs, hotel groups, and developers to create impactful lighting experiences aligned with global standards. As part of our regional expansion strategy, we are looking for a Vertical Lead – Chennai Region to establish and grow our presence in Tamil Nadu and surrounding markets. Role Summary The Vertical Lead – Chennai Region will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing strategic client relationships, and managing project pipelines within the Chennai and South India market. The role requires strong B2B project sales experience, regional market knowledge, and the ability to independently manage revenue targets. Key Responsibilities 1. Revenue Ownership ● Achieve monthly revenue targets of ₹8–₹12 lakhs from the Chennai region. ● Develop and execute a structured regional sales plan aligned with company growth objectives. ● Ensure consistent order inflow from new and repeat clients. 2. Business Development & Client Acquisition ● Build relationships with: ○ Architects ○ Interior Designers ○ PMCs ○ Builders & Developers ○ Hotel & Commercial Project Owners ● Onboard 6–10 active clients per month. ● Position Sutra Luminis as a preferred lighting partner in key projects. 3. Project Pipeline Management ● Maintain a healthy pipeline of 25–30 active leads/projects. ● Track projects from concept stage to execution and billing. ● Ensure early product specification in BOQs and design discussions. 4. Client Engagement ● Conduct 15–20 structured meetings per month (site visits/virtual). ● Present customized lighting solutions aligned with project themes and budgets. ● Maintain a minimum 25–30% conversion ratio. 5. Market Expansion ● Identify growth opportunities across Chennai and nearby cities. ● Monitor competitor activities and market trends. ● Build strong local industry presence. 6. Internal Coordination & Reporting ● Coordinate with design, production, and operations teams for seamless execution. ● Ensure timely quotations, technical submissions, and follow-ups. ● Maintain CRM discipline and submit weekly performance reports. Candidate Profile ● Graduate with 4–7 years of experience in B2B project sales (decorative lighting preferred). ● Strong exposure to the Chennai and South India market. ● Proven ability to generate ₹8L+ monthly revenue in project-based sales. ● Established network within architect, interior, or developer ecosystem preferred. ● Strong negotiation and relationship management skills. ● Willing to travel within Tamil Nadu and surrounding regions.
