to lead and support the upgrade of

IBM InfoSphere Information Server Enterprise Edition

in a business-critical enterprise environment. The consultant will be responsible for end-to-end upgrade activities including assessment, planning, execution, testing, validation, production cut-over, documentation, and post-upgrade stabilization support. This is a high-impact engagement requiring strong hands-on expertise in large-scale

High Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessment of the existing DataStage environment Perform impact analysis and upgrade readiness evaluation Plan and execute version upgrade to the target environment Perform environment configuration and compatibility checks Execute job validation, testing, and performance tuning post-upgrade Support UAT and production cut-over activities Ensure minimal downtime with effective risk mitigation strategies Prepare technical documentation, upgrade runbooks, and rollback plans Provide post-upgrade stabilization and production support Coordinate with internal stakeholders and database teams Required Skills & Experience Strong hands-on experience with IBM InfoSphere DataStage (11.x versions) Proven experience in enterprise-level DataStage upgrade projects Expertise in Windows Server environments Strong knowledge of SQL Server database integration Experience handling large job volumes (1,000+ jobs) Strong understanding of ETL performance optimization and troubleshooting Excellent documentation and communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with fix pack upgrades (11.7.x series) Experience in highly business-critical production environments Knowledge of backup, rollback, and disaster recovery planning IBM DataStage Certification (Preferred but not mandatory)
