As part of our admissions team expansion, we are offering a structured Sales Trainee (Academic Counseling)

program designed to develop future academic counselors within the EdTech ecosystem.

Program Overview This structured 2-month training program combines guided learning with hands-on exposure to admissions counseling and inside sales processes. Trainees will work with real student inquiries, learn consultative counseling techniques, and gain practical understanding of the end-to-end admissions lifecycle. Candidates who successfully complete the training program and meet defined performance expectations may be considered for full-time Academic Counselor roles at Boston Institute of Analytics.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Qualification & First-Level Counseling Interact with prospective students via calls, messaging platforms, website inquiries, and virtual channels. Understand candidate academic background, interests, and career goals. Support early-stage lead qualification within the admissions funnel.

Program & Career Guidance Explain program offerings, curriculum structure, and learning outcomes. Provide accurate information about schedules, enrollment processes, and career pathways. Help students understand how programs align with their professional goals.

Admissions Process Support Assist students through application and enrollment steps. Coordinate documentation, scheduling, and CRM updates. Support smooth progression of candidates throughout the admissions journey.

Follow-Ups & Engagement Conduct structured follow-ups with prospective students. Address queries and maintain consistent communication. Support admissions conversions through relationship-building and timely coordination.

Counseling Sessions & Presentations Participate in one-to-one counseling calls, virtual meetings, and information sessions. Support webinars and student engagement initiatives when required.

CRM & Reporting Maintain accurate records of interactions and follow-ups in CRM systems. Submit daily activity updates and reports. Ensure disciplined lead tracking and coordination.

Collaboration & Professional Conduct Work closely with marketing and admissions teams to share insights and feedback. Maintain professional communication standards while representing the organization.

Who Can Apply Fresh graduates or early-career professionals interested in sales, counseling, or EdTech roles. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Confidence in speaking, presenting, and engaging with students and parents. Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with Excel, Google Sheets, or CRM tools. Self-driven individuals interested in building a career in admissions counseling and consultative sales.

Compensation for full-time positions is performance-linked and aligned with company standards. Typical compensation for Academic Counselor roles ranges between

₹7–9 LPA , depending on individual performance, role fit, and business requirements. Final compensation details are discussed with shortlisted candidates during the selection process.
