Special Education Teacher

Role is to implement personalized educational programs for students with physical, mental, learning, or emotional disabilities. You will act as the bridge between the student, the general curriculum, and the parents to ensure "No Child is Left Behind."

Key Responsibilities 1. Assessment & IEP Development : Conduct formal and informal assessments to identify students' strengths and areas of need. Develop and execute Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with measurable goals for each student. Monitor and record progress through detailed reports and periodic evaluations. And maintain a log of it. 2. Classroom Instruction & Support: Adapt the CBSE/School curriculum to meet the specific needs of students (Remedial Teaching).Employ specialized techniques such as multisensory learning, visual aids, and assistive technology. Provide one-on-one or small-group support within the Resource Room or during mainstream classes. 3. Collaboration & Consultation: Collaborate with subject teachers to modify lesson plans and assessment patterns (e.g., providing extra time or simplified worksheets).Work closely with the school counselor, speech therapists, or occupational therapists if applicable. Conduct workshops for general staff on inclusive classroom strategies. 4. Parental Engagement: Conduct regular meetings with parents to discuss student progress and suggest home-based interventions. Provide emotional support and guidance to families navigating special education needs. Required Qualifications & Skills Requirement

Education: B.Ed. in Special Education (Mandatory) or M.Ed. in Special Education. Registration :Must be registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). Experience2–5 years of experience in a reputed school (Primary or Middle school level). Tech Savvy Proficiency in using digital tools for IEP tracking and interactive learning. Soft Skills Exceptional patience, adaptability, and high emotional intelligence.
