Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Senior Manager of Events Marketing to lead and execute our global events strategy. This pivotal role will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and delivering high-impact virtual, hybrid, and in-person events that drive brand awareness, generate qualified leads, and accelerate pipeline for Sharpsell.ai. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of dedicated B2B SaaS events experience, a proven track record of managing complex events from inception to post-event analysis, and a strong focus on demonstrating clear ROI.

Key Responsibilities Events Strategy & Planning: Develop and own Sharpsell.ai's comprehensive global events strategy, aligned with overall marketing and sales objectives (e.g., lead generation, brand awareness, customer engagement). Identify, evaluate, and prioritize relevant industry conferences, trade shows, proprietary events, webinars, and virtual summits for participation or hosting. Conduct market research to identify trends, audience preferences, and competitive event strategies to inform planning.

End-to-End Event Management: Lead the planning and execution of all event types (virtual, hybrid, in-person), including logistics, vendor management, contract negotiation, budget management, and timeline adherence. Manage all aspects of event production: venue selection, catering, A/V, booth design, staffing, registration, speaker management, and material production. Oversee digital event platforms and technology for virtual and hybrid events, ensuring a seamless attendee experience.

Content Integration & Promotion: Collaborate closely with Content Marketing and Product Marketing teams to develop compelling event-specific content, presentations, demos, and messaging. Partner with the broader marketing team to create and execute promotional plans for each event, leveraging email marketing, social media, PR, and paid advertising to drive registrations and attendance. Ensure all event communications align with Sharpsell.ai's brand voice and messaging.

Lead Generation & ROI Focus: Define clear, measurable objectives for each event and implement mechanisms for lead capture and qualification. Work with Sales and Marketing Operations to ensure seamless lead routing, follow-up processes, and integration with CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot). Track, analyze, and report on event performance metrics, including attendance, engagement, lead generation, pipeline contribution, and ROI. Use insights from post-event analysis to continuously optimize future event strategies and execution.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership: Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams (Sales, Product, Marketing, Executive Leadership) and external vendors/partners for all event-related activities. Manage and mentor any junior event staff, agencies, or contractors as needed. Ensure event strategy supports global sales initiatives and regional market needs.

Required Qualifications: Experience:

5+ years of progressive experience in events marketing, with a significant portion dedicated to B2B SaaS. B2B SaaS Acumen:

Deep understanding of the B2B sales cycle, buyer personas, and the specific event tactics that drive results in the SaaS industry. Strategic & Execution-Oriented:

Proven ability to develop strategic event plans and execute them flawlessly from concept to completion. Project Management:

Exceptional project management skills, with experience managing multiple complex events simultaneously under tight deadlines. Budget Management:

Demonstrated ability to manage multi-faceted event budgets effectively and efficiently. Vendor Management:

Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. Tools:

Proficiency with event management software, CRM (e.g., Salesforce), marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot), and digital event platforms (e.g., Luma). Communication:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Travel:

Ability to travel as required for in-person events. Education:

Bachelorโ€™s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
