Study Abroad Counsellor / Admission Counsellor

to guide students who wish to pursue higher education overseas. The counsellor will be responsible for providing expert advice on study destinations, universities, courses, admission procedures, and visa processes while maintaining excellent student relationships.Key Responsibilities

Student Counselling Provide professional counselling to students interested in studying abroad. Assess student profiles and recommend suitable universities, courses, and countries. Guide students on admission requirements, eligibility, and career opportunities. Application & Admission Process Assist students in selecting universities and preparing admission applications. Coordinate documentation required for university applications. Track application status and ensure timely submissions. Visa Guidance Provide basic guidance on visa documentation and processes. Coordinate with visa filing teams to ensure accurate submission of student visa applications. Student Relationship Management Maintain strong relationships with students and parents. Follow up with prospective students from initial enquiry to visa stage. University & Partner Coordination Work with international universities and admission partners. Stay updated with admission requirements, scholarships, and policy updates. Lead Management Handle walk-ins, phone enquiries, and online leads. Convert inquiries into successful student admissions. Marketing Support Participate in education fairs, seminars, and promotional events. Promote study abroad opportunities through counselling sessions. Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in any field (Master’s preferred). Experience in

Study Abroad Counselling / Overseas Education Consultancy

preferred. Freshers with good communication skills may also apply. Skills Required

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong counselling and persuasion ability Knowledge of international education systems (UK, Canada, Australia, Europe, etc.) Ability to work in a target-oriented environment Good documentation and coordination skills Preferred Experience

1–3 years experience in overseas education consultancy Experience handling
