We're expanding our sales team and looking for motivated sales professionals (SDRs) to help us accelerate our growth in the Indian B2B SaaS market.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation:
Research and identify potential customers using tools like LinkedIn, CRM data, databases, and marketing campaigns. Build targeted lists of prospects based on ideal customer profiles (ICPs).
Outreach (Cold Calling & Emailing):
Initiate first contact with prospects via cold calls, emails, LinkedIn messages, or other channels. Personalize outreach to grab attention and build interest.
Lead Qualification:
Systematically evaluate each prospect to determine their fit and readiness for a deeper sales conversation. Use established frameworks such as BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline) or CHAMP (Challenges, Authority, Money, Prioritization) to guide the qualification process. Ensure only genuinely qualified leads - those with a real problem, interest, and potential to convert — are passed further for a demo or proposal discussion.
Consultative Selling:
Engage with decision-makers at Indian consumer brands to understand their sales, distribution, and channel engagement challenges.
Pipeline Management:
Track and manage leads, opportunities, and activities using CRM tools; ensure accurate pipeline reporting.
Deal Support:
Collaborate with senior sales team members to follow up on deals and assist in closing new business.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing, product, and leadership teams to refine outreach strategies and improve conversion rates.
What Are We Looking For?
Experience:
1–3 years of experience in software sales.
Domain exposure:
Experience in B2B and SaaS sales, with a focus on the Indian market, is preferred.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field (BBA/MBA preferred).
Communication skills:
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills are a must.
Sales approach:
Ability to do consultative selling and a good understanding of the B2B sales cycle.
Tools & systems:
Familiarity with lead generation tools (e.g., Lusha, Apollo) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho).
Mindset:
Self-starter with a growth mindset, eager to learn and perform in a fast-paced SaaS startup environment.
