Salesforce Data Cloud Developer

Position: Salesforce Data Cloud Developer Location: Offshore – India/ 100% Remote Job Type: 5 Months Contract with possibility for extension

Responsibilities Design & Build Digital Agents: Develop, configure, and deploy Agentforce agents (e.g., Sales Coach, Employee Agents, SDR Agent etc) within Salesforce Sales Cloud using Agentforce Studio (Prompt Builder, Agent Builder). Integrate with Data Cloud & CRM: Ensure agents leverage unified data from Salesforce Data Cloud, CRMA, and external sources for real-time insights and recommendations. Implement Governance & Security: Apply Einstein Trust Layer principles - secure data retrieval, prompt-injection prevention, auditability, and compliance controls. Customize Agent Behavior: Configure prompts, actions, and flows to align with business processes; monitor and refine agent performance. Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with product owners, architects, and delivery teams to translate business requirements into agent capabilities. Collaborate with other developers and cross functional teams to ensure that solutions are implemented effectively and efficiently. Testing & QA: Conduct functional and unit testing of agents, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and adherence to best practices. Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of designs, code, and user guides. Provide technical training and support to end-users and junior developers.

Qualifications Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (required) Salesforce Certified Agentforce Specialist (required) Salesforce Data cloud consultant (preferred) Platform Developer II (preferred)

Required Skills Salesforce Platform Expertise: Strong knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud (required), CRM Analytics (preferred), and Data Cloud integration (required). Agentforce Tools: Hands-on experience with Agentforce Studio (Prompt Builder, Agent Builder, Model Builder) and Apex/Flow for agent actions. AI & Prompt Engineering: Understanding of generative AI concepts, prompt design, prompt templates, model types, and reasoning engines for autonomous agents. Programming & Scripting: Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and API integrations for Salesforce ecosystem. Data Management: Ability to structure and harmonize data for AI consumption, familiarity with metadata frameworks and secure data handling. Experience with Salesforce APIs, REST, and MuleSoft for integration. Expertise in Salesforce Data Cloud solutions, including data ingestion pipelines, identity resolution, Einstein studio, indexing, harmonization, and segmentation/activation strategies. Governance & Compliance: Knowledge of enterprise security, audit trails, and responsible AI practices.
