Job Description
We are partnering with a fast-scaling, investor-backed startup that is building a category-defining business in its space. As part of its next phase of growth, the company is looking to appoint a
Chief Business Officer (CBO)
to drive revenue acceleration, market expansion, and enterprise-scale execution.
This is a P&L leadership role with direct ownership of commercial strategy, revenue growth, and business scalability.
The Mandate
Own and drive end-to-end
revenue strategy
across sales, partnerships, growth, and new market expansion
Build scalable
go-to-market (GTM)
architecture across geographies and segments
Establish high-performance
sales and business development teams
Lead pricing strategy, monetization models, and margin optimization
Identify and execute strategic partnerships, alliances, and enterprise deals
Drive fundraising narratives alongside founders and investors
Translate product capability into commercial success
Build dashboards, forecasting discipline, and performance metrics
Develop expansion strategy (new verticals / new geographies)
Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and Board
What Weโre Looking For
15+ years of progressive commercial leadership experience
Proven track record of scaling revenue from early-stage to growth stage
Strong exposure to startups / high-growth environments
Experience leading P&L and managing large revenue targets
Deep expertise in sales strategy, partnerships, and GTM execution
Strong financial acumen and data-driven decision making
Experience working with investors / fundraising preferred
Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on
