Job Description
About SwayamWhere SwayamWhere is a modern Indian matrimony platform built for people who want
safety, agency, and values-aligned matches
without losing the warmth of Indian family culture. We’re building a product that feels like a calmer, kinder alternative to noisy matrimony apps – for singles and their families.
We’re now looking for a
Project Manager
to keep our product, marketing, and operations moving in sync as we gear up for launch and scale.
What you’ll own
End-to-end project delivery
for key initiatives across product, design, engineering, and marketing
Turn high-level goals (e.g. “launch waitlist v2”, “improve onboarding funnel”) into
clear project plans , milestones, and deadlines
Run
weekly sprint / check-in rituals
– standups, tracking boards, follow-ups, risk flags
Coordinate with founders, designers, engineers, and content/marketing to ensure everyone is aligned on scope and timelines
Create and maintain
project documentation
in tools like Notion/Jira/Trello (requirements, decisions, status updates)
Track
dependencies, blockers, and risks ; proactively propose options to unblock
Partner with founders on
launch calendars
(feature launches, campaigns, experiments) and keep all stakeholders updated
Work with QA / testing to make sure what we ship is stable, on-brief, and ready for users
Help measure impact post-launch (using analytics, feedback, and basic dashboards) and feed learning back into the roadmap
You’re a great fit if you
Have
3–6 years
of experience as a Project Manager / Delivery Lead / Program Coordinator in a
product or tech-first environment
Are comfortable working in
early-stage startup chaos
– ambiguous inputs, tight timelines, quick decisions
Can break down fuzzy ideas into
clear tasks, owners, and dates
Communicate clearly with both tech and non-tech folks; you’re not shy about following up
Are organised, detail-oriented, and love clean boards, updated docs, and no loose ends
Have experience with tools like
Notion, Jira, Trello, ClickUp, Asana, or similar
Care about
user experience, safety, and empathy
– especially in social / dating / matrimony contexts
Bonus points if you:
Have worked on
consumer apps
(social, community, fintech, dating/matrimony, etc.)
Have experience coordinating
remote teams
across time zones
Enjoy thinking about Indian shaadi culture, families, and how tech can make it kinder
Why join us
Work directly with the
founders
on a zero-to-one product in a large, emotional, and very real Indian market
Own meaningful projects that directly shape the
launch and early growth
of SwayamWhere
Remote-first, outcome-focused culture with a lot of autonomy and trust
Chance to build something that actually impacts how Indians find partners –
safer, calmer, and more respectful
