Role: Data Engineer - Contract (Remote)

We are hiring an experienced

Data Engineer

with

5+ years of hands-on experience

to join our growing data team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working on scalable data platforms, building reliable pipelines, and owning end-to-end data workflows in a modern cloud environment.

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for

designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines

using

Fivetran and Snowflake , ensuring high-quality, secure, and performant data delivery for analytics and business use cases. You will collaborate closely with analytics, product, and business teams while working independently in a fast-paced, remote setup.

Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain robust

ETL/ELT data pipelines

using

Fivetran

for data ingestion from multiple sources Develop and optimize

Snowflake data models , schemas, and warehouses for performance and scalability Write efficient and complex

SQL queries

for transformations, validations, and analytics use cases Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipeline performance, reliability, and cost Ensure data quality, consistency, and best practices across the data platform Work with cloud-based data ecosystems and modern data stack tools Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions

Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience

in Data Engineering or related roles Strong hands-on experience with

Fivetran

and

Snowflake Advanced

SQL

skills with experience in performance tuning Solid understanding of

data pipelines, ETL/ELT frameworks, and data warehousing concepts Experience working in

cloud-based environments

(AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred) Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a remote, fast-paced environment
