Position Overview We are recruiting a Senior ServiceNow Developer on behalf of our client, a Canada-based ServiceNow implementation partner delivering enterprise ServiceNow solutions across public and private sector organizations.

This role is part of an offshore delivery model working closely with onshore architects, business analysts, and project managers. The successful candidate will be hands-on, technically strong, and experienced in delivering high-quality ServiceNow implementations using out-of-the-box best practices with selective customization.

Key Responsibilities Configure and customize the ServiceNow platform based on approved designs and client requirements. Develop workflows and automations using Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Actions, and ACLs. Build end-to-end service request fulfillment workflows including Requests, Request Items, Catalog Tasks, and approvals. Design and implement integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and MID Server. Perform data loads, transformations, and synchronization between ServiceNow and external systems. Translate functional and business requirements into technical solutions aligned with ServiceNow best practices. Collaborate with onshore delivery teams to clarify requirements, participate in design reviews, and ensure delivery alignment. Develop dashboards, reports, and Performance Analytics indicators as required. Perform unit testing, system testing, and support UAT and production deployments. Support defect resolution, enhancements, and continuous platform improvements.

Required Skills and attributes for success Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform configuration and customization, JavaScript (ServiceNow scripting), Flow Designer and Workflow, and Service Portal and/or UI Builder. Implementation experience in at least two of the following ServiceNow applications or capabilities: Agentic AI and/or Generative AI, ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SPM, SecOps, IRM, ITAM (HAM and/or SAM), integrations (REST/SOAP, IntegrationHub), and ServiceNow Portal and/or UI Builder. Good understanding of Agile / SDLC-based delivery models. Experience working with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent. Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work effectively in the PST time zone.

To qualify for the role, you must have Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience). 4 to 6+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – mandatory ServiceNow CSA certification is mandatory, along with at least one CIS certification. ITIL Foundation certification is a plus.
